2) Summary (Google Play-style)
- We collect basic account data (email and user ID) to provide login and app features.
- We use location (with your permission) to show nearby performances.
- We store authentication tokens on your device using secure storage.
- We do not sell personal data. We share data only to operate the service, comply with law, or protect safety.
3) Information we collect
A. Account & profile information
When you create an account or use authenticated features, we may collect:
- Email address
- User ID
- Display name (if provided)
- If you are a singer: stage name, bio, city/country, languages, website, social links, and profile visibility settings
- Profile photo you choose to upload (singers)
B. Location data
If you grant permission, we collect approximate or precise location (depending on your device settings) to show performances near you. You can use the app with limited functionality if you deny location access.
C. App activity & usage data
We may collect app activity to operate features such as:
- Performances you view
- Singers you follow / unfollow
- Basic diagnostics (e.g., error logs) to fix issues
D. Device & technical data
We may collect:
- Device identifiers and OS version (for compatibility and troubleshooting)
- Network information (e.g., IP address) for security and abuse prevention
E. Data stored on your device
Street uses secure storage (e.g., expo-secure-store) to store your authentication token on your device.
This token is used to keep you logged in and to access protected endpoints.
4) How we use your information
- Provide the service: login, profiles, performance discovery, following singers.
- Location-based features: show nearby performances and distances.
- Safety & security: prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
- Improve the app: fix bugs, measure performance, and enhance UX.
- Communication: respond to support requests and important service notices.
5) Data sharing
We share data only as needed to operate Street:
- Service providers (hosting, infrastructure, monitoring) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality.
- Public content: if you are a singer and set your profile to public, your selected profile fields (e.g., stage name, bio, city, avatar) can be viewed by other users.
- Legal & safety: if required by law or to protect users, our rights, and public safety.
We do not sell your personal information.
6) Google Play “Data safety” mapping

7) Permissions (Android)
Street may request these permissions:
- Location: to show nearby performances (optional).
- Photos/Media library: to pick and upload a singer avatar (optional).
You can change permissions anytime in your Android device settings.
8) Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account data (see “Your rights”).
9) Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10) Children’s privacy
Street is not intended for children under the age required by your local laws to consent to data processing. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11) International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, depending on where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards when required.
12) Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights such as:
